Deep Rest ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the Deep Rest mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• User goal preference (sleep better, reduce anxiety, or improve focus)
• Routine settings (selected sessions and reminder time)
• Session stats stored on device (streak, total minutes, total sessions)

Automatically collected information

• App usage and preferences stored locally on your device (UserDefaults)
• Crash and diagnostics information if enabled at system level

We do not require account creation. Core app data is stored locally on your device using iOS app storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Personalize home recommendations based on your selected goal
• Track progress and present streak and session statistics
• Support routine reminders and playback preferences
• Improve app quality and reliability

3. Audio & Notifications

Deep Rest plays bundled local audio files and may schedule local notifications for bedtime routine reminders. Notification permissions are managed by iOS and can be changed in Settings at any time.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only:

• With service providers that help us operate the App in future releases, under confidentiality agreements
• When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.

6. Your Rights & Choices

• Disable notifications in iOS Settings or in-app Settings
• Change reminders, audio preferences, and appearance via in-app Settings
• Contact us to request information about data we hold

7. Children's Privacy

Deep Rest is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data. Local data is stored within your device's secure sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. International Users

If you access the App from outside your country of residence, your data may be processed in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
